will YOU help us find homes for Foster Kids?
With hundreds of children being removed from their parents care this year already, we have an urgent need for more caring foster homes and loving families.
What better time to think about a child who needs a home than at an open house when you're looking for a home yourself!
Realtors, that's where you come in. We know you care about the community - always volunteering, hosting fundraisers, and making a difference. With your help, we hope to reach the tens of thousands of people who attend open houses sharing the need for more foster families.
Could you display a small tent card next to your sign in at your open houses?
That's all we ask. We'll provide the tent cards, customized with your broker logo (with their permission) and give you some general info cards which you can pass to any interested parties.
As a bonus, we've seen that it opens conversations with potential clients and shows how much you care about your local community.

February = Foster Family Appreciation Week
April = National Child Abuse Prevention Month
May = National Foster Parent Appreciation Month
July = Summer is a great time to promote foster parent training (the need for parents spikes once school restarts)
September = Promote mentoring, especially with kids going back to school
November = National Adoption Month (host celebration & provider fair)
Orphan Sunday = 2nd Sunday in November
