Foster Palm Beach, a program of Speak Up For Kids, is dedicated to addressing the critical shortage of foster parents in Palm Beach County. Our mission is to simplify the foster home application process and prioritize the well-being of children in foster care.
We understand the challenges faced by prospective foster parents in Palm Beach County, including confusion and information gaps. That's why we offer personalized support to guide individuals through the process. Our dedicated advocate handles inquiries, answers questions, facilitates licensing, and clarifies differences between licensing agencies. This tailored approach significantly increases the likelihood of successful progression from initial inquiry to obtaining a foster care license.
At Foster Palm Beach, we believe that keeping children in familiar environments within their home county is crucial for their well-being. Research consistently shows that stability and continuity lead to better emotional, social, and developmental outcomes. By placing children in foster homes within Palm Beach County, we aim to improve their overall outcomes during this critical period of their lives.
Foster Palm Beach' was created through a Children's Service Council Great Ideas Initiative grant in 2018 to address the critical need for foster parents in Palm Beach County.
